About the Journal

Journal of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies (JEERED) is a peer-reviewed, open access international journal which is Published by the university Tahri Mohamed of Bechar. The journal was founded in 2025 to promote research and dissemination of knowledge on electrical engineering and renewable energies. It  publishes four issues per year. The journal Editorial Board welcomes original research and review articles in both fundamental and applied research areas, and encourages submissions which contribute novel and innovative insights to the field of electrical engineering and renewable energies.

All submitted articles considered suitable for JEERED are subjected to rigorous peer review to ensure the highest levels of quality. Original papers which provide an important contribution to the development of electrical engineering and renewable energies and report on significant developments in the field are encouraged. The review process is carried out as quickly as possible to minimise any delays in the online publication of articles.

Policies:

Publication Ethics and Research Integrity: JEERED follows the best practices based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

  • Author Responsibilities: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. If the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
  • Peer Review Process: All submissions are subjected to a strict double-blind peer review process by at least two independent experts. The editors' decision is final.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
  • Correction and Retraction: JEERED is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record. We will publish corrections, clarifications, and retractions when necessary.

Peer Review Policy: JEERED employs a double-blind review process, where both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous throughout the process. Revewer Guidelines  . The Steps of the process are:

  • Internal Desk Review: The Editor-in-Chief checks the manuscript for formatting, scope, and plagiarism (using Turnitin/iThenticate).
  • External Review: The paper is sent to at least two experts in the field.
  • Decision: Based on the reviewers' reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
  • Timing: We aim to provide a first decision within 4 to 8 weeks of submission.

Article Processing Charges (APC): JEERED does not charge any fees for submission or publication.
